What to expect

Contractor crews started work on the Hagen Road and SR 240 intersection in June to reconstruct and widen SR 240 and make signal modifications. Travelers can expect lane closures. A signed detour will direct travelers to Kingsgate Way, Battelle Boulevard, and Stevens Drive to SR 240.

The detour route uses Kingsgate way, Battelle Blvd., and Stevens Drive for SR 240 travel.

The SR 240 corridor in Richland is experiencing increased congestion at several existing intersections. This project makes improvements to these intersections to improve safety and efficiency for travelers.
