NEVI funding restored

On June 24, the U.S. District Court's Western District of Washington restored Washington’s NEVI funding. On July 2, our NEVI state plans were restored and on July 8, funding was obligated. We immediately restarted the program and are currently reviewing Round 1 proposals. Round 1 closed in January 2025 and we are not accepting new applications at this time. We anticipate announcing up to $25 million in Round 1 awards in September and releasing the Round 2 funding opportunity this winter.

The NEVI Notice of Funding Opportunity and Request for Proposals (PDF 682KB) application period closed on January 31, 2025.

Phone down, eyes up.

Work zones need our undivided attention.

It's in EVERYONE’S best interest.

96% of people hurt in work zones are drivers, their passengers or passing pedestrians, not just our road crews.
