Site 2 (milepost 94): traffic control includes single-lane closure with flaggers and 20-minute all stops while the contractor performs scaling, followed by alternating traffic guided by pilot car. Work started Aug. 6. Travelers should plan for delays.

Site 3 (milepost 97) and Site 4 (milepost 98): traffic control includes single-lane closure with flagging and 20 minute all-stops, followed by alternating traffic guided by pilot car. Travelers should plan for delays. There is a three-day full closure planned for Aug. 19-21 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from milepost 85 at Coles Corner and 99, just west of Icicle Road in Leavenworth. During this time, passenger vehicles will be detoured on to Chumstick Highway, and freight on US 97 Blewett Pass.  The road will reopening each evening to normal traffic flow.

Local traffic will be allowed to continue eastbound at milepost 84 until milepost 96, but it will only be allowed to head westbound when leaving the area within the closure.
