Design Academy is our premier event for design training, guiding participants through the Project Development process with a combination of virtual and in-person sessions led by key support groups. The event also includes a team-based design project. For full details, refer to the 2025 Design Academy flyer (PDF 383KB) for more information.

Design documentation (PDF 4.54MB) and design analysis training (PDF 10.5MB) are available from your Assistant State Design Engineer covering the design documentation process and how to write a design analysis. WSDOT employees can access The Learning Center on insideDOT for the next available class.

The 2024 Design Manual Update Webinar - Videos are recordings of the current design manual update training webinar. The webinar was separated into 28 individual videos and there is one video for each chapter.
